- Paducah Tilgham (12-14) - Don’t let the record fool you, the Tornadoes return Diamond Gray and bring in Stephani Gray with a renewed vision and focus for the program.
- Christian Fellowship (17-10) - Remember the name Gracie Howard! She’s capable of carrying this team to heights not seen at the christian school. She won’t be asked to do it alone as Lillian Burnett’s 14+ppg are back as well.
- Marshall Co. (21-6) - Expect a bit of a down season at Marshall but is it really a down season. They’re not just in one of the top positions to start the season but they still should win.

- Mayfield (9-14)
- Fulton Co. (8-10) All eyes will be on now sophomore sensation Jamesha Brown who averaged near 20 ppg last season.
- Graves Co. (24-7) - How Graves replaces Anna Whitaker and Nealey Jackson will be key in how their season goes. The Eagles could finish higher then this spot but there’s alot of uncertainty.
- Murray (4-20) - As Alyssa Daughrity goes so will Murray. But a supporting cast around her will need to grow.

- Owensboro Catholic (26-10) Hailee Johnson is another young lady to watch, and one many colleges should put their antennas up to. She’ll get aid from Karmin Riley as they try to head to the Sweet 16 themselves.

- Todd Co. Central (8-16)
- Russell Co. (8-20) - We could see a much improved Lady Dogs thanks to the new addition of Aysha Sutton, Sutton paired with such returners as Maleah Preston and Hannah Yates could have them pushing .500 or better.
- Metcalfe Co. (20-12) - Metcalfe returns it’s leading scorer and leading rebounder, but has just one senior on a team that looks to be young.

- Glasgow (12-15)
- Logan Co. (21-12)
- South Warren (11-20)

- Bethlehelm (23-8) - Can the smooth shooting Carlie Thurmond and Emma Filatreau return the Banshees back to the Sweet 16? They’ll start out as the regional favorite.
- John Hardin (13-18) - This could be the year it all comes together for John Hardin, as they were already set to return Destini McAllister and Sharon Tidwell, but then Bethlehelm post presence Xavi Smalley transferred in making them more potent.
- Elizabethtown (18-11) - Sarah Clark is a special player but she’ll be asked to carry much of the load for the Panthers. How Janiesse Armstrong progresses could be the tell-tale sign for this squad.

6th Region
- Mercy (23-9) - Leah Macy is touted as one of the nations best sophomores. We have her as the #5 post player in America in the 2025 class. She isn’t the only weapon at Mercy as she’s joined by Alyssa Murphy and Mary Smith.
- Bullit Central (24-10) - Haley Dillman has been running the show for a while. We’d go as far to say she’s one of the most under-rated players nationally. But someone will scoop her up.
- Butler (11-18) - The Bearettes have a star in the making in Ramiya White, as her star becomes brighter so will the target on the Bearettes back.
- Moore (14-5) - This is the season Moore breaks that glass ceiling and gets to the regional tournament behind Aylana Taylor, and Seantavia Thomas.

- South Oldham (21-8) - The Lady Dragons are led by the regions top player in Ella Morrison, and also have one of the top freshmen in Madison Young.
- Anderson Co. (30-5) - The Lady Bearcats lost a lot, especially in Ms. Basketball Amiya Jenkins. But Clay Birdwhistell has a powerhouse going in Lawrenceburg. Next up to lead the charge is Lainey Johnson.
- Grant Co. (11-17) - When you have a inside-outside duo like Emily Naranjo and Jada Cummins what much do you have to worry about.
- Simon Kenton (17-13) - If you go watch the Pioneers one player is sure to catch your eye and that is Emilee Eggleston.
- Gallatin Co. (13-18) - Does the upward climb continue for Gallatin? With Whitley Biddle and Chloe Brown back the opportunity presents itself.
- Walton Verona (15-14) - It’s always great when you see one of your former athletes you covered in the past still in the game, Rianna Gayheart HC of Walton Verona was one of our interviews when we was formerly Sports Xpress, she has a player she’s hoping to mold in her image in Grace Brewer.

- Cooper (25-10) - Only one player is gone off of last seasons team, and Lehigh commit Whitney Lind is set to show why she’s the top player in the region.
- Ryle (21-10) - Abby Holtman, Quinn Eubank, and Austin Johnson combine for 50 ppg last season and look to only make that number climb this season.
- Conner (22-4) - The 33rd District is gonna have some good matchups and some college coaches should flood the gyms when the top 3 teams are on the court against each other. Anna Hamilton provides Conner with that star power.
- Holy Cross (19-14) - Julia Hunt is a problem, and one we’re glad we get to watch and not solve.
- Newport Central Catholic (22-11) - Catholic will go as Caroline Eaglin goes this season.
- Dixie Heights (25-8) - This team has a high ceiling, but it depends on the growth of some of their youngsters. Sammy Berman and Reese Smith will lead the pack and Abby Thelen is one to watch for growth.
- St. Henry (16-14)

- Montgomery Co. (21-13) - Dustin High and crew are likely a year away from challenging for the region crown, led by Hayden Barrier and Allie Dillon.
- Paris (17-11) - Can the Lady Hounds stay healthy and consistent? Sanaa Jackson and Jamie Cowan are a great duo.
- Pendleton Co. (17-15) - Saniah Thomas is ready to take that next step in her game, and with her teammates in Falmouth.

- Lexington Catholic (12-15) - Katherine Truitt has the classic Catholic guard play to her. Toughness, and the ability to score in multiple ways plus the Lady Knights never stay down to long.
- Franklin Co. (28-8) - The Lady Flyers are loaded with talent, who leads this group after the graduation of some stalwarts is yet to be seen but all eyes are on Jazmin Chambers who was in the mix with those stalwarts.
- Madison Southern (22-12) - As freshman Hadley French, one of the best in the state grows over the next few seasons, could we see the rise of the Eagles in the 11th Region?
- Madison Central (12-13)
- Henry Clay (18-13) - The Blue Devils welcome back Allison Stone and 2nd year coach Ashley Garrard who both splashed onto the regional landscape last season.

- Corbin (25-7) - Kallie Housley will shoulder the load for the Red Hounds, but she’ll get help from Darcie Anderson.
- Bell Co. (24-8) - If not for the transfer of Nadine Johnson to Pineville, Bell could’ve been in Corbin’s slot here. The Lady Cats still have enough fire power to compete for a regional title with Gracie Jo Wilder.
- Knox Central (20-9) - Halle Collins could very well be the next big thing out of the mountains. Getting some help around this high scoring star is Knox #1 priority.
- North Laurel (24-6) - They’re playing basketball down at North Laurel, with the favorite for Mr. Basketball their girls team isn’t to shabby either, and will shoot their shot at the region crown behind Emily Sizemore, 6’4 center Chloe McKnight, and Brook Nichelson.
- Pineville (8-19) - You can only use youth as an excuse for so long, this squad is growing up. Plus they added Bell Co. transfer Nadine Johnson to go with Abi Jackson, and Ava Arnett.

- Perry Co. Central (19-14) - Emalee Neace will lead the deepest team in the region, but she’s far from the only star shining in this lineup with Kylee Gayheart, Lexie Mullins, and Kyra McAlarnis.
- Leslie Co. (20-13) - Courtney Hoskins will threaten Neace’s preseason POY award, and will score in bunches for the Lady Eagles.
- Owsley Co. (20-11) - Can Carly Smith lead Owsley back to the region title game? She definitely has the spice to do so.
- Letcher Co. Central (26-10) - Many expect a big jump for Lady Cougars standout Keira Couch in her junior season.
- Hazard (3-28) - Get your eyes off the record! This isn’t last years Lady Bulldogs, with the addition of Abby Maggard the bark and bite may be back in Hazard.
- Wolfe Co. (14-14)
