Warren East (11-17) - Isaiah Andrews is took for granted in a region with Warren Central and Bowling Green and their star power but he could be the most talented in the city.
Franklin-Simpson (18-9) - The Wildcats will look to a pair of players Jalen Briscoe and Gabe Jones who combined for nearly 26 ppg.
Barren Co. (17-13) - Not many players in the state have taken a bigger step in their games than Eli Brooks from last season.

Elizabethtown (16-14) - Coach James Haire and the Panthers always play one of the toughest schedules across the state, this season they’ll be led by three former North Hardin transfers Ayden Evans being the leader of the group, JuJuan and JQuan Williams.
Taylor Co. (19-12) - This team is going to be fun to watch led by Mason Guffey. Guffey will be aided in his efforts to get the Cardinals to their first Sweet 16 since 2017 by Laken Lyons and Jackson Wise.
Central Hardin (16-10) - Liberty signee Brett Decker is back and focused to get his team to Rupp Arena after averaging 22 ppg a year ago.
Bethlehem (14-14)
North Hardin (9-17) - This is a region that is still likely a year away with as solid a junior class as any and one of those juniors is Taveon Smith.

Pleasure Ridge Park (23-7) - Keith Robinson and his 17 ppg are back to lead another talented Panthers squad, he will get some help from Greg Cole.
Western (23-5) - Back is a 45% shooter from 3 in Trent Hinkle who averaged 15 ppg much is expected of this Western team.
Evangel Christian (22-11) - Cyr Malonga can be the most dominant force in Kentucky when he asserts himself fully upon the game. He’ll get some aid from Kyran Tilley who is a 42 % shot from three and averaged 11 ppg last season.
Fairdale (14-18) - The time is now for Fairdale as Dalton Hicks and Jacob Tucker are now juniors, and they may be the region favorite next season.
Holy Cross (15-16) - Jacob Hand can fill it up with anyone in the region, the question surrounding this team is who will go with Hand.

Trinity (17-16) - Drae Vasser transfers in from Jeffersontown making this thing neck and neck between the Bulldogs and Shamrocks for the 7th. Trinity will also rely on Cam McClain and the state’s best freshman Jayden Johnson.
Ballard (28-7) - Gabe Sisk returns and hopes to lead Ballard past the top two he’ll rely on a superb sophomore group for most of his help.
Manual (21-7) - Nobody stock is soaring statewide quite like Damone King is the Crimsons standout ready to take that next big jump?

Woodford Co. (27-6) - Jasper Johnson and John McCrear gives the Yellowjackets one of the state’s top duos, which should enable them to compete with just about anyone night in and night out.
Collins (23-7) - Kenyon Goodin is a pest, and we mean that in a good way. Joining him bringing pressure on defense will be Quintin Simmons.
Owen Co. (21-11) - Something is in the water in Owenton, for such a small community they put out the basketball prospects from Carson Williams, Rianna Gayheart, and now Teagan Moore who should challenge for the state scoring lead this season.
Spencer Co. (19-10) - Many are sleeping on the play of Luke Erhardt, but in a loaded region it’s difficult to choose just 5 players.
North Oldham (19-13) - Dallas Roberts is a favorite across the state, starting since he was in middle school. For North Oldham to return to Rupp Roberts to make that next jump.
Grant Co. (18-16) - Want to see a diamond in the rough, get to Grant Co. for a tipoff and watch Dylan Hammonds. In one of the deepest regions in the state can he lift his Braves squad to a improbable run.

Lloyd Memorial (22-8) - E.J. Walker and Jeremiah Israel are hungry, can they get their Juggernaut squad over the hump that is Covington Catholic and Jacob Hand.
Covington Catholic (30-5) - Many aren’t concerned with the departure at Cov Cath of Chandler Starks but he was a huge piece of this team, one thing is certain Evan Ipsaro is capable of shouldering the load on a nightly basis.
Covington Holy Cross (21-10) - The Indians got a HUGE boost when Jacob Meyer elected to return instead of staying at The Skills Factory in Georgia where he left earlier for. Throw in Javier Ward and Holy Cross’ duo could go toe to toe with Lloyd’s.
Conner (20-10) - There will be no surprise if/when Conner cracks the state top 25 polls, with a trio of Landen Hamilton, Daniel Campbell, and Ayden Lohr back to lead the way.

Boone Co. (14-16) - The Rebels should see a big year out of Junior PG Thomas Williams.
Beechwood (7-19) - The Tigers Cameron Boyd is a bucket. Pitching in 21 ppg last season and 6 rpg.
Newport (9-19) - This should be a floor ranking for this talented squad led by Marquez Miller.
Highlands (22-9) - The Bluebirds lost a lot, but return their most important piece in Will Herald who cued up 18.4 ppg on a talented and deep Bluebirds squad last season.

Bracken Co. (24-10) - It’s not every day two talents like Blake and Cayden Reed come through a town the size of Brooksville. The brother duo combined for 46 ppg.
Mason Co. (24-6) - Will the state finally get to see Terrell Henry on the big stage? If so, it’ll take a memorable performance for the Royals to knock off Clark Co.
Campbell Co. (20-11) - The Camels looked less than impressive in a preseason showing, but HC Aric Russell always seems to have his bunch ready to go come March.
Harrison Co. (20-9) - Well, Hello old friend! Remember the name Terrence Brooks who coached the Paris Lady Hounds to the state tourney well he’s hoping to rebuild another once proud region stalwart in Harrison Co. this time on the boys side.

Madison Central (20-12) - When many think of the Indians, they know Jaylen Davis and Robby Todd but seem to forget their adding another chief to the tribe in former Montgomery County standout Hagan Harrison.
Great Crossing (27-7) - Young and talented, and will already contend for a state title. So the state is being put on notice the next couple of years. Malchi Moreno, Vince Dawson, Junius Burrell, Madison Central transfer Trey Skaggs, and Bourbon County transfer DeJohn Blunt.
Lexington Catholic (26-6) - When you have a man that stands 7’1 and has the ability of Reece Potter you’ll be near the top of any region. Throw in Tyler Doyle and John Reinhart and Catholic makes this a three team pow wow.
Western Hills (15-15) - You can sleep on Western Hills, but we’re not. The Wolverines return a lot of their team from HC Geoff Cody’s team last season including Walter Campbel and Javeon Campbell who combined for 34 ppg and 21 rpg.
Bryan Station (12-12) - The Defenders look to follow up on a successful football season with a equally successful hoops season.
Dunbar (14-13) Spaulding & Van Dyke have the sound of a nice architecture firm and thats who the Bulldogs will rely on as key pillars this season.
Madison Southern (21-12) - This is the floor for this Mad South team, with a strong showing there’s no reason we couldn’t see this team in the Top 5 come end of the season.

Morgan Co. (2-22) - Last season was rough for the Cougars, but a new day is dawning in the form of the arrivals of Elliot Co. twins Gatlin and Eli Griffith. Throw in Preston Hawkins, Allen Justice, Cam Adams, and Logan Spencer and Morgan is very deep.
Fleming Co. (20-9) - Adam Hargett and Seth Hickerson give the Panthers a deadly duo that could end on a very good run at Rupp.

Bath Co. (27-5) - One of the best kept secrets in the state of Kentucky resides in Owingsville, his name is Zack Otis. We saw him go for 46 in a pre-season performance.
